  1. Go door-to-door to sell new subscriptions for the Leader-Post

  1. Sales Team members are paid $10.00 for every new PAID subscription they sell

How to become a Sales Team leader

Job Description

  1. Pick up team members and take them to a designated area of the city to go canvass subscriptions
  2. Check in with each member to ensure that they are on track and do not need any assistance
  3. Pick up team Members and drop them back off at their homes
  4. Encourage and motivate team Members to ensure they are meeting their full selling potential
  5. Invoice the Leader-Post for the new subscriptions you get while canvassing and then pay the team members for their new orders

Qualifications

  1. Performance driven, goal oriented
  2. Work well with children
  3. Ability to encourage and motivate others
  4. Clean driving record
  5. Criminal record check
  6. Ability to recruit and train new sales team members

Hours

  1. team Leaders usually work from 4:30 p.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m.
  2. We have Sales team members working 7 days a weeks and the week is divided among the team Leaders – we have some Leaders that work 5 days a week and others that work only 2 – this is an excellent job opportunity for students!

Pay

  1. team Leaders are paid for every new paid subscription start their sales team members get.
  2. team Leaders fill out a weekly invoice on behalf of themselves and their team members. The Leader-Post will pay the team Leaders who are then required to pay their team members
  3. The Leader-Post also offers incentives and contest for the team Leaders

Past prizes include: a trip to California, team paintball, team laser quest games, pizza nights, an X box 360, an Ipod nano, mall shopping sprees and more!

Hours

We go out after school and weekends and you can work around your schedule. We provide training so if you are an outgoing person this is the ideal after school job for you! We start picking up team members between 4 and 5 p.m. and they are dropped off by around 9 p.m.

Parents

  • All Sales team Team Leaders have had criminal record checks and have a clean driving abstract
  • All Team Leaders have cellular phones that they carry with them while working so they can be contacted directly by team members or their parents

Recruiting New Members

The Leader-Post runs ads in the classifieds section to recruit new sales team members; however, team Leaders are also required to recruit new members themselves to ensure that they have enough sales team members working everyday
